PFC International was started in the Summer of 2005, when a small group of Christians prayed for direction in organizing a Company, People for Christ International, that could become a blessing to help individuals improve themselves in three of the primary areas of their lives, i.e., Spiritually, Physically, and Financially, with the priority in that order. This group was aware of the modern world's rejection of Christianity and wanted to create a community of individuals that was interested in restoring some of these values for which our country was founded. The Christian principle of "It is more blessed to give that to receive" was a strong motivating principle of these founders. The twelve "Financial Disciples" as they were called, invested money which became the Founder's Stock. They then invited 22 other "Financial Apostles," who displayed strong Christian character, to invest in "Co-Founder Stock" and the company began with $50,000 of capitalization and a strong faith that God would provide the means for expanding its capital base.

PFC International, Inc. - (People for Christ International), was incorporated on June 1, 2005 with the Founders relying on prayer and faith that God would provide the means to bring this company to the heights that they had visualized it achieving.

A specific business plan called for setting up PFC Centers in major cities throughout the US and each Center was responsible for enrolling members to have an ultimate goal of 1 million members over the next 5 years and creating an environment to help all of its members to develop Spiritual, Physical, and Financial Fitness in their lives, along with becoming the "Better You" in the process. The Company is run by a 10 member Board of Directors elected each year by the stockholders, and one of the main criteria for the selection for them to exhibit the Christian principles stated above. The business plan called for a Phase l of getting a PFC Center established with the initial enrollment of 300 members called the Founders Group or "Gideon's Band."

A website was created and offices set up in the Hibernia Bank Tower, in late 2005, immediately after the devastating Hurricane Rita hit the Lake Charles area. All goals were achieved and in January, 2008, additional capital was created that allowed the Company to move into a beautiful PFC Model Center with training facilities, a virtual office with computer stations, modern technology, and a beautiful new website, with substantial enhancements to membership benefits. This created the next move into Phase ll of the business plan, as it will launch a new website, new member benefits, and an optimization to drive traffic to the website. The Founders believed that their prayers, faith, and willingness to step out on God's promises were responsible for this accomplishment. It is important to note that People for Christ International is not a church or a sect, but a membership organization that believes Christ was the Son of God, He died and was resurrected, and that the Holy Bible is the Word of God. As a member of PFC you are making a statement to the world that you are not ashamed to be called a Christian.
